1Kosmos Wins 2026 CyberSecurity Breakthrough Award for Overall ID Management Solution of the Year

Recognition highlights how 1Kosmos connects identity proofing, passwordless authentication and reverification to help stop workforce impersonation throughout the identity lifecycle

EDISON, N.J., Oct. 08, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- 1Kosmos, a leader in unifying identity verification and passwordless authentication, today announced that it won the 2026 CyberSecurity Breakthrough Award for Overall ID Management Solution of the Year. The annual global program recognizes innovative products, companies and individuals across the information security and cybersecurity industries.

Winners were selected by an independent panel of experts that evaluated entries on innovation, performance, user experience, functionality, market impact and value. The recognition reflects how 1Kosmos connects identity proofing, passwordless authentication and reverification so organizations can confirm the person behind a credential throughout the identity lifecycle.

“The CyberSecurity Breakthrough Award reflects the power and flexibility of the 1Kosmos platform to verify identity throughout the user lifecycle without forcing users to re-enroll at high-risk moments,” said Hemen Vimadalal, CEO of 1Kosmos. “Know Your Employee shows that value in practice: organizations can verify workers at the start of the application process and reverify them during account recovery, privileged access and other high-risk events, helping stop worker impersonation before legitimate credentials become a path into the business.”

The 1Kosmos platform supports workforce, customer and government identity use cases. Enterprises use 1Kosmos to verify employees, contractors and third parties during onboarding, account recovery, service desk validation, shared workstation access and privileged workflows. Customer-facing organizations can apply the same identity assurance to digital onboarding and transactions. Public sector deployments are supported by FedRAMP High and Department of Defense Impact Level 4 authorization.

Organizations can connect 1Kosmos with identity, IT service management, cloud, healthcare and workforce systems through integrations with Microsoft Entra Verified ID, ServiceNow and Epic. The platform is also available through AWS Marketplace and Google Cloud Marketplace, helping enterprises add identity verification and reverification to existing workflows without replacing their underlying systems.
